Cookie Policy
How we use cookies
Watermark Studio uses a small number of essential cookies and local storage entries to keep the studio stable, signed in, and honest about consent. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. Last updated: May 2026.
Essential session cookies
We use the 'wmr-session' cookie to keep your account session active and the 'wmr-user' cookie to preserve account isolation across product requests. These cookies are required for the core application to work correctly.
Consent acknowledgement
When you accept the privacy and cookies notice, the acknowledgement is stored locally on your device so the banner does not reappear on every page load. This is used only to remember your choice.
Editor recovery and local state
The application may use browser local storage for short-lived state such as your signed-in email reference, editor continuity, and privacy acknowledgement. This data stays in your browser and can be cleared through your browser settings.
No advertising or analytics cookies
We do not run ad pixels, cross-site audience tags, or third-party analytics cookies in the current product flow. If we introduce optional non-essential measurement in the future, this policy and the consent experience will be updated first.
Third-party technical providers
Core delivery depends on infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare R2, AWS, MongoDB Atlas, Redis, and optional AI verification processors. These services support storage, processing, and delivery, but the current app path does not rely on marketing cookies from them.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser at any time. Doing so will sign you out, clear saved consent, and may remove editor recovery data that helps the studio reopen gracefully after an interruption.
